Established in 1959 as branch 75 of the British Sub Aqua Club, our branch celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2019. Prior to 1982 we met in various pubs and clubs around Doncaster until moving into our very own club house on Greyfriars Road which, 35 years later, is still going strong!
The club undertakes pool training at Hall Cross School, Thorne Road, Doncaster DN1 2HY on Wednesday evenings from 7:45pm – 9:00pm, and has plenty of Scuba kit for students – plus time, experience and patience! Afterwards, members usually head down to the club-house for a catch up, plan forthcoming dives and, of course, a drink.
Doncaster Sub Aqua has Instructors of all levels including Advanced Instructors with over 20 years experience. The club delivers theory and practical training as well as skill development courses, such as boat handling, safety and rescue, seamanship and technical courses.
